THE COMBINATION
REFUEL AND DOWNLOAD DATA IN ONE STEP
BACKGROUND:
European Regulations (EC) No. 561/2006, (EEC) No. 3821/85 and (EC) No. 1360/2002, Annex 1b stipulate that all newly registered commercial vehicles over 3.5 tonnes must be fitted with a digital tachograph. The regulations also apply to new vehicles used for the carriage of passengers suitable for carrying over 9 persons. They apply to the whole of the European Union. So what does this mean for those affected - freight carriers, fleet operators and all contractors with such vehicles in their fleets? And finally, what does it mean for the drivers themselves? Drivers have to get used to the new technology, as do contractors. However, the latter now have a whole range of new responsibilities and this is where we at HECTRONIC want to lend you our support. We have developed a solution for you which will make your life easier despite the increased obligations; a solution which will save you both time and money and even have additional uses. To be more specific, we have developed three solutions from which you can select the one which meets your specific requirements.
TWO SOLUTIONS:
HECTRONIC's solutions let you download data from digital tachographs regardless of where you are. Being experts in refuelling systems, we can offer you an special sector combination of refuelling and data downloading in this special sector. The autofuel terminal will be control centre as well in this case. However, HECTRONIC's devices are not limited to this area alone. The DataSpeed download terminal can be installed simply and at any location, especially at those in which such installation would be opportune due to the steady flow of commercial vehicles. Depending on your requirements, there are three models available, all offering you different advantages.
SOLUTION 1 - TA2331 - The EU driver card becomes a petrol station card
Drivers go to petrol stations and authorise their transactions at autofuel terminals using their EU driver cards. No additional card is required
SOLUTION 2* - HECFLEET - Refuelling and data downloading in one step
Drivers authorise their transactions using their EU driver cards (the continued use of petrol station cards is also an option) and, using the HECFLEET autofuel terminal, have the option of simultaneously downloading data from their EU driver cards. A download key also allows vehicle information to be downloaded directly at autofuel terminals. Using the FuelData software, the information arrives at the central office and its ZA|ARC archive software in a matter of seconds.
* Data transfer from download to data storage occurs in accordance with the legal obligations (digital signatures).
SIMPLY HECTRONIC
- Simply with one card: drivers require nothing more than their EU driver card to authorise their transaction at autofuel terminals and to download their digital data.

The Software
ZA|ARC is a software solution with which you can archive your digital tachograph data in a simple and secure manner and in accordance with the law concerning driving personnel and the regulation about driving personnel (new). It is perfectly compatible with the FuelData fill level management software. ZA|ARC supports both centralised and decentralised fleets and can efficiently consolidate data from numerous locations and connected workshops. The software is therefore suitable for all sizes of fleet and all types of organisations. All data collected by ZA|ARC is saved in a database and can be evaluated, analysed and further processed at any time.
