Optavias is a PC-based software solution for the analysis and monitoring of the tank level data. All functions, such as tank level administration, volume conversions, temperature compensation (conversion to normal temperature). Threshold value default with visual and acoustic alarms are integrated.
Functions
By means of a licence-extension the algorithms of the software module Alpha can be activated, similarly to the Controller 104M. This guarantees a most efficient analysis and monitoring of the tank level data (only applicable via direct connection to the Supply). The software itself excels because of it user-friendly graphic and tabular-style interface.
The database based on MSSQL provides the opportunity of displaying, storing and analysing data. This information is clearly classified and displayed via two menu bars.
Current data:
The menu displays the latest probe information clearly structured in tabular and graphically form.
Historical data:
The menu provides the possibility to select, edit and analyze all stored data.
By means of additional remote connection possibilities Optavias can be enhanced from the mere stationary application to become the central administration system for a large number of stations.
Structure:
- Optavias Basis is connected directly to the supply via a serial interface and polls cyclically the tank level data.
- Optavias Remote modem connection polls statically the data of several configured stations via analogue-, ISDN- or GSM-connection.
- A client (work station) can access data of the Optavias Master + Client database using a LAN connection.

Optavias Remote modem connection (licence extension)
Functions
The remote modem connection provides the possibility to call up several stations by telephone- and GSM-net via an additional licence. It is possible to call up and configure up to 200 stations. All the retrieved information can be arranged and analyzed individually.
Structure
The probes are connected to the Analogue-, ISDN- or GSM-modem (this hardware you need additionally; please see articlenumbers below) via the OPTILEVEL supply. All data of the station(s) will be retrieved and stored with time-controll via the serial interface of Optavias (the software modules Alpha and Beta can not be activated!).
Optavias Remote Master + Client (licence extension)
Functions
The licence extension Master + Client provides the opportunity to access the tank data on further work stations (up to 20 clients possible). This is accomplished by a separate client software which is connected via the internal LAN to the master software. The client software polls the data cyclically from the master-pc-database. The data are displayed on the visually identically structured menu.
Structure
The probes are connected serially to the Optavias Master software via the OPTILEVEL supply. The station’s data are transmitted by TCP/IP to the respective clients via the internal LAN.
