Berlin – A success story continues

Another district will be equipped with technology by Hectronic

After Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg have already been successfully equipped with our Citea parking ticket machines, the third district now follows. Hectronic Vertriebs- und Service GmbH prevailed over all competitors and received the order for 197 machines for Tempelhof-Schöneberg.

Last year, the first 72 parking ticket machines were delivered within 42 days of winning the contract and commissioned by the end of 2017. They replace existing, obsolete devices. The Citeas used have security class P4 systems, are anti-graffiti coated and equipped with a GSM modem. Administration is operated by means of the intelligent parking management software CityLine.

In the spring of 2018, the remaining 125 machines will be connected to the grid in a new car park management zone. This means that by the middle of 2018, more than 1,100 Hectronic parking ticket machines will be operating reliably in Berlin.

“Equipping another district shows us that Hectronic’s products are convincing and we are delighted with the good reputation that the machines enjoy in Berlin,” explains Andreas Daubitz, Branch Manager Region East
