Erich Doetsch Mineralölhandels KG Invests Extensively into the Tank Content Measurement System OptiLevel
A reliable measurement of the tank content, exact data recognition and flexible connection to the desired host systems. As a specialist for optimum tank content management Hectronic covers all relevant areas with fill level monitoring probes, controllers and suitable management software. For the medium-sized Erich Doetsch Mineralölhandels KG in Andernach (Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany) these were the striking arguments for the comprehensive use of the system OptiLevel.
As a classic wired variant the OptiLevel probe HLS 6010 works on the basis of the floatless technology developed by Hectronic. With no movable parts installed in this technology the probe is not subject to wear. The floatless technology is significantly less sensitive to soiling in the tank as the parts cannot stick together. This results in a long lifetime of the fill level monitoring probes, minimum maintenance costs and a uniquely safe measurement method. Beyond that the probe recognizes any fluid exchange and automatically adapts to the new medium. The OptiLevel probe HLS 6010 is also offered in a wireless variant. Thus, Hectronic offers the suitable probe solution for each petrol station and all kinds of circumstances.
In order to keep an eye on everything all fill level data are collected at the powerful controller Mineo Touch. As the name already suggests, a generous 7“-color touch display clearly shows the fill levels. With the controller Mineo Touch the tank content data of the OptiLevel probes HLS 6010 are read out, visualized at the petrol station in a user-friendly way and made available for external devices such as cash register systems, petrol station controls and other peripheral devices.
After the precise measurement and the reliable monitoring of the system OptiLevel the only other thing required for an economic planning is suitable data management software. The tank content management software PetroLine ATG allows the online retrieval of alarms and tank content data from anywhere and at any time. The administration of rights, users and stations guarantees maximum flexibility. As an example, fuel suppliers can be integrated to allow for an independent delivery. A defined supplier gains insight into the fill level data and can organise the next delivery as required. In the long run this reduces costs, facilitates logistics and ensures a continuous fuel supply.
In Rhineland-Palatinate, the Saarland and partly also in Hessia and North Rhine-Westphalia the Erich Doetsch Mineralölhandels KG operates a network with appr. 100 petrol stations. As of August 2019 75 full-service petrol stations will be equipped with 2 to 6 OptiLevel probes HLS 6010 each. In cooperation with the project partner Tokheim the probes will be installed step by step. During this process the data of the fill level sensors are transmitted to the existing HUTH cash register system and can then be used from there for further control.
“In order to ensure a long-term and economically successful cooperation with our customers, employees and suppliers highest quality standards are indispensable for us as a medium-sized company. The reliable measuring method in combination with the long-lived technology and the option to connect to our existing cash register system has finally convinced us to choose the system OptiLevel.”- Jürgen Doetsch jr., Managing Director Petrol Stations & Authorized Representative, Erich Doetsch Mineralölhandels KG
