Innovative Petrol Station Management Successfully Presented at the PetroForum MENA in Dubai

As a business-friendly innovation centre connecting East and West the pulsating city of Dubai was highly appropriate as the venue of this year’s PetroForum. On 23 and 24 September the event not only offered an interesting lecture programme but also the opportunity for representatives of oil companies from the whole region to speak to recognized providers of the fuel and petrol station industry from around the world. Naturally, the Hectronic GmbH was also present in this environment. As a participant and partner of this event Hectronic had the intention to enter into a personal exchange with potential customers and to further intensify existing business relationships with partners and top customers.

The comprehensive petrol station solution with fuel terminals, automatic vehicle recognition and platform-independent as well as web-based management software could convince all along the line. Robert Mazuga, Hectronic Head of International Sales, did not promise his interlocutors too much. No matter if public, company or fleet petrol station, Hectronic can provide the suitable petrol station solution for any conceivable requirement. Furthermore, the automatic vehicle and driver recognition PetroPoint attracted particular attention. No matter if car or truck, with PetroPoint all kinds of vehicles can be automatically authorised at the fuelling point. PetroPoint consists of the components nozzle unit for the petrol nozzle, a transponder mounted to the vehicle, an on-board unit (optional) and the receiver. The connection between the components is wireless and can be easily integrated into the existing petrol station architecture. Fuelling processes are automated with PetroPoint and optimize the fleet management for the operator through transparency and an exact usage calculation. The intelligent, floatless and therefore almost maintenance-free probe solution OptiLevel also met with great interest.

All in all Hectronic can be quite satisfied with a successful participation in the PetroForum MENA. Valuable contacts with fuel traders and petrol station operators from the whole Middle East and Northern Africa have established the basis for promising partnerships in the region.
