From 18 to 21 January, the biennial AutoZum trade fair took place in Salzburg. The AutoZum is a trade fair for automotive products and this year continued its focus on “connected mobility”. Hectronic’s subsidiary EDV-SOS is among the longstanding exhibitors at the trade fair, and took the opportunity at this year’s appearance to announce the impending name change to Hectronic Austria in April.

True to the trending theme of the trade fair, numerous attendees presented their networked system solutions in the field of filling station technology. In addition, POS systems and automated fuel terminals as well as fill level measurement solutions were also presented for the first time. In particular, there was great interest in paying by app. This has been extended to sending the electronic bill to the smartphone. An absolute eye-catcher came in the form of the newly designed POS column, into which all possible modules have been integrated. “The compact design has inspired many customers”, says Managing Director Michael Ringhofer. It was an all-round successful trade fair which more than did its job!
