On 15 and 16 January 2020 the UNITI Cards and Automation Forum entered the 11th round, and of course Hectronic GmbH was also present. At the beginning of the fiscal year the representatives of the European oil industry met to discuss the topic “The petrol station – mobility hub of the future” in Hamburg. The participants received targeted information on developments and trends in the petrol station business, vehicle-based mobile commerce and digital marketing. The change processes concerning national and European card and payment transactions along with their importance to the industry were also discussed in great detail. The keynote speeches on both days of the forum allowed for an intensive exchange of information and opinions.

One of the speakers was Sven Janja, Head of Sales D A CH of Hectronic’s petrol station management division. Together with Marc Bringolf, Head of Marketing & Sales of the Hectronic partner PayTec AG, he imparted first-hand knowledge on the topic “Solutions for operation and payment at unmanned petrol stations”. In this workshop the whole range of products and solutions was presented, covering management and monitoring software, the fuel terminal and mobile payment options via app. In particular the manifold payment options were in the focus. At the beginning of the year this was a successful event for Hectronic with a very positive visitor response.
