IT security and protection against drastically increasing cyberattacks are a top priority today. Fuel terminals are also exposed to attacks if communication and control take place via an internet connection.
With HecVPN, we offer a secure connection between the back office and the filling station infrastructure, which is already used by numerous customers worldwide. With our service, fuel terminals are no longer publicly accessible via the internet and are protected from access. A „tunnel“ is established between the client (router fuel terminal) and the VPN server. Data exchanged between the client and the VPN server is encrypted and therefore not accessible to third parties.

The HecVPN connection runs via a pre-configured router with two variants:
- LTE router: Internet connections via mobile networks (SIM card with mobile phone data plan required)
- LAN router: HecVPN via existing LAN connection
